Windows 3.1 Launch Party

When I said that the torrenting party was the funniest Windows 7 video I've seen, that was only because I hadn't seen this yet. This spoof video claims to be captured from a VHS excavated from a seventeen-year-old time capsule, proving that launch parties for Windows operating systems are a "time-honored tradition."

The ensuing four minutes follow pretty much as you'd expect based on the premise, but they're still four pretty hilarious minutes and the writing is sharp throughout. OK, the runtime might push the limits of this joke, but the retro production values and geeky humor keep the charm level high. Sure, plenty of casual YouTubers might be too young to get most of the jokes here, but for those of us that actually remember Windows 3.1 (and I just barely do), this is a great throwback.
