Radiolab and NPR Visualize "Words"
WNYC's excellent program Radiolab recently aired an episode on words. The show's producers commissioned filmmakers Daniel Mercadante and Will Hoffman to put together this stunning companion piece to the show. The short film focuses on the metaphorical relationships between words, ideas, and actions. While it plays with the slickness of an advertisement, it's surprisingly subtle and thoughtful. You won't be able to catch everything the first time around.
