Gay Wilkinson is a world champion anvil shooter. And to think before today I didn't even know anvil shooting was a thing people do, let alone something enough people do there's actually a world championship title for it. But apparently both of these things are true! And, yes, it's as cool as it sounds.
Wilkinson says it best himself: "It's just neat launching something that wasn't intended to be launched. Men pretty much think, 'Wow, that's pretty cool.'" Because, honestly, what could be more manly than watching this big bearded dude blow a huge chunk of metal into the sky with explosives? I can feel the hairs sprouting from my chest right now.
