Broken Bells, a pop duo comprised of prolific producer Danger Mouse and James Mercer of The Shins, commissioned Flash developer Richard Lehmann and illustrator Matthew Hollister to create this interactive 3D video for their new single, "October." Now don't go breaking out those bulky 3D glasses yet. This is 3D like a video game is 3D, not like the sort of 3D you might scope at the local multiplex.

Wired's Scott Thill describes the imagery in the video as "mathematical equations, geometric shapes and evocative illustrations." Personally, I was expecting a bit more. The pictures are pretty, but the track itself is so-so and the interactive portion doesn't quite deliver all that much interactivity. We still that hot robot video with Christina Hendricks. Watch a 2D "preview" of "October" below or just dive right in and take a look for yourself.
