35mm: 35 Movies in 2 Minutes
Sarah Biermann, Torsten Strer, Felix Meyer and Pascal Monaco created this wonderful short animation illustrating thirty-five classic films in just two minutes. In the style of the internet's recent minimalist movie poster trend, each of these films is boiled down to a simple (sometimes very subtle) graphic concept. See if you can spot all the references. You've gotta be sharp; some of them go by pretty quickly! If the visuals don't always give it away, the exceptional music and sound design may provide the clue.
