Top 3 Reasons NOT to Jailbreak your iOS Device

If you were to take a survey of iOS device owners asking them for reason why they shouldn't jailbreak they're iOS device you'll most likely end up variations of these responses:
Reasons NOT to Jailbreak your iOS device
- Void warranty.
- Chance of "Bricking" your device.
- Security Concerns
The first reason not to I'll be examining is Voiding Your Warranty. This comes as one of the greatest concerns to most users contemplating a jailbreak for their iOS device - simply because most of us aren't able to shell out another couple hundred for a new device. Voiding your warrant isn't anything to sweat though, all you need to do is backup your device to a secondary source before you start the jailbreak process (Secondary source: if you primarily back up via iCloud, than select via your computer for this).
The reason why I ask you backup your factory settings to a secondary source is so that it doesn't get over-written. If something goes wrong while you've got your iOS device jailbroken you're able to restore via your secondary source which will be factory settings meaning, you can now take it back to an Apple store. Please note, this method will not work with bricked devices.
Next we have "Bricking" Your Device. This by far is the worst possible outcome that can happen when attempting the jailbreak process. Bricking your device results in your device just displaying the Apple icon till it drains your battery and then no longer turning on. This only happens during the jailbreak process and usually is the result of the user failing to enter DFU mode properly or, not reading the on-screen directions properly. This is not fixable and should be considered before every jailbreak attempt, it's personally never happened to myself and in recent jailbreak version for iOS 5.0+ users no long have to manually enter DFU.
