Three Cool iPhone Games for Your Next Long Trip
I don’t know about you, but I often hate commuting and having to look at people looking back at me. In fact, that's one of the reasons that I own my trusty little iPhone: what better way to pass the time and ignore the guy winking at me than to scroll through emails, browse songs, or play with one of my many entertaining games. After tons of scouring I came up with a list of a few to recommend that have very much kept my attention.
Tap Tap Revenge,by Tapulous: If you love Guitar hero than you will absolutely adore this game. It is definitely a time passer and ever so addictive, as they give you a large selection of popular songs to tap your heart out to. They actually also have quite a large following on Twitter and run really cool online contests where if you beat a high score you win a prize. The only downside to this game is that if someone text messages you it pauses. Message all of your friends to leave you alone if you are on a tap tap roll.
Sallys Salon, by Gamehouse: I am not a hair dresser, but I play one on the iPhone. This game was recommended to me by a friend who now never hears from me due to my excessive use. This addicting game allows you to play the boss as you cut , style, and move your clients from seat to dryer to register. You have goals for the day and if you meet them you are able to buy new things for your salon and even add trusty assistants.
Chokoblok, by Von Nostrum Games: Brain teaser games do usually burst my bubble a bit, but this game I find very entertaining. Within this 3D puzzle you must drag and flip the rectangle across the board until you get it into the hole. Sounds so very easy doesn’t it? Well allow me to tell you: it isn’t. However, it is tons of fun and, as you move from level to level, I must say it's very gratifying.
All of the these games can be found within the Apple iTunes store with prices ranging from Free to $.99. Who said you have to break the bank to have fun on your commute home?
