Keeping Gadgets in Check

Tech geeks are glued to their RSS readers, favorite blogs, Twitter streams and gadget websites this week with the annual Consumer Electronics Show set to pump out more news than pork in a sausage factory.
With new gadgets, come residual market opportunities, including opportunities that make the stuff which protect, enhance and house the plethora of gear we all carry — iPhones, Blackberries, netbooks, Macs, laptops, pocket cameras, etc.
One such company looking to cash in on helping gear heads organize our stuff is Cocoon Innovations, who plans to announce some cool products this year at CES.
Gear Diary is reporting that Cocoon Innovations will expand their digital device, organizational product line to include a range of laptop cases, netbook cases, messenger bags, neoprene sleeves, backpacks, and gadget slings, all of which will utilize their GRID-IT! technology.
According to their website, GRID-IT is "a unique object retention, organization system that keeps personal items and digital devices secure and protected.
This year, the company is expected to announce the availability of products designed to accommodate both Macbooks (13″ and 15″) and netbooks, with a sling that is specifically designed to carry and organize SLR cameras and accessories. Additionally, Cocoon is introducing a new collection of smartphone accessories compatible with iPod, iPhone, Blackberry, Droid and other PDA devices, including both soft and hard shell designs with storage for credit/debit cards, ID card, cash or headphones. This, according to the company, makes "life on the go lighter."
