Is a Watch Phone on Your Christmas List?

It seems that the James Bond movies inspired a lot of people. LG is one of those companies who think that everything is possible, including a watch phone possibly inspired by the British spy hero. This hybrid boasts on 3G connectivity, full touchscreen and 2 GB of built-in memory.

I’m talking about the LG GD910, a device that you just cannot decide what it is: a watch or a mobile phone? It looks like a watch but it answers to all user’s demands regarding mobile phone functions.

Even though LG tried to keep dimensions to reasonable limits, the LG GD910 is still chunky and too large for many of its users, especially if they have small wrists, though the band is adjustable using a metal slider. They keys are very small, so people with large fingers will find it difficult to use the screen keyboard.

Also, let’s face it: it’s weird to talk on the street to your wrist, right? GD910 saves you from this embarrassing moment by giving you a Bluetooth headset.

All this being said, would you pay almost $800 dollars, as Engadget says in a recent review, for something you can’t describe to be either a watch or a mobile phone? For this price you can buy many other cool things for Christmas, can’t you?  Like a watch and a mobile phone.
