Popar Books Presents Virtual 3D Books

Popar Toys will debut 3D technology at the NY Toy Fair featuring the interactivity of video games and applies it to digital toys, action figures and books. "It comes alive in front of your eyes" By way of a web cam, a reader can now explore Venus in real life. You can place a card in front of the camera and the book is read to you. Fun facts truly become fun as these Popar books bring visual and tactile learning together in the perfect marriage for absorbing information. Each page encourages interaction allowing the child to actual be in the book!
Right now, Popar books can be found in three categories: bugs, planets and construction. Kindle and iPad meet Nintendo and PlayStation with Marquee the robot in these upcoming virtual pop-up books. While these new books are educational centered now, soon you may see Harry Potter twirling his wand above your head. Scott is in talks right now with major toy companies to take popular children's figures such as Handy Manny or Dora and apply them to this technology. Learning is now 3D, and currently there is not a like product that exists for a price a consumer can pay in the US. Scott was first to market this technology.
Watch the video below when Scott Jochim talks to Stephanie Sandoval about their news technology: Augmented reality for children's books. Scott has been on the cover of Popular Science, in Wired Mag, will be featured in the Feb. issue of TD Monthly and all over the local media in Phoenix.
