Blog Focus is Technorati's daily roundup of the top stories as told by the bloggers of the world. Each day a handful of posts, no matter how popular or nascent, will be selected by editors to portray a general unscientific reaction to discussion points around the 'Net.

Could you please not talk so loudly in the cubicle next to us about Aero? Please? After a four-day weekend partying with Windows 7, the last thing we want to do is imbibe in more Windows 7 coverage. Isn't there anything else behind the bar, perhaps in a non-OS flavor?

Thankfully, the blogs feel the same way as we've all moved on while hoping to forget what we did with the Start menu last weekend.   Instead, here's the hypeless Windows 7 hangover cure for your Monday morning:

TechCrunch — Leena Rao reports that Yahoo! Mail is down.  That ought to keep the loud noises to a minimum.

Mashable — Pete Cashmore takes us down Memory Lane by noting the end of life for GeoCities.

Gizmodo — Danny Allen recommends a huge gulp of Apple tablet rumors to clear the senses; the New York Times' executive editor lets slip about an Apple slate.

Lifehacker — But Kevin Purdy insists on hair of the dog that bit you with a way to tweak Windows 7 to display faster and better.
