Google employees received their own Nexus One phones last week, meaning the world is now receiving their first peeks at the Google Phone in the wild. And, as you would expect, the blogs have gone wild with information on it:
• Engadget — Joshua Topolsky scored first pictures of the Nexus One and details including a lack of device manufacturer branding, WiFi, touchscreen buttons at the bottom, and the software you've come to expect on Android 2.0.1.
• Gizmodo — Kat Hannaford lists the FCC filing information for the Nexus One: quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as microSD card slot, 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1.
• PMP Today — Also, check out the 5-megapixel camera and flash pictures from the Nexus One.
• Mashable! — Pete Cashmore confirms that the Nexus One will come out unlocked but be marketed with T-Mobile's network (though it would work on AT&T as well). Also, the January 2010 release rumor persists.
