T-Mobile Charm Available August 25 - Plus Video
There have been an awful lot of people waiting impatiently for the Motorola Charm to arrive, what with the promised reasonable pricing and BlackBerry-style candybar form factor.
Well, the wait just got officially shorter.
According to a recent T-Mobile tweet (you do follow @TMobile_USA on Twitter, don't you?), the Charm will be available on August 25, less than a week from today.
While not the fastest or biggest Android handset on the block, the Charm does have a 3MP camera, landscape display, Motoblur (love it or hate it), Backtrack, and that sexy and unique (at least in Android land) style that should appeal to a certain segment of the population that's been hooked on 'Berries for the last few years. Sadly, it may be launched with Android 1.5
Still though, it's priced solidly, as we learned when pricing information was released on the T-Mo Facebook page: a paltry $74.99 with a contract, and spy shots I've seen indicate am unconfirmed $299 price point for a cash deal.
