Sprint announced today that they have expanded their 4G data network to three new cities.

The latest cities to get their antennas on WiMAX are Boston, MA; Daytona Beach, FL; and Providence, RI. This brings the total number of markets on the yellow and black network that get WiMAX to over 50, in 21 states.

Sprint is offering two Android handsets that can take advantage of the high speeds: the HTC EVO 4G, currently selling for 200 bucks with a new line or upgrade, and the Epic 4G, Sprint's Galaxy S phone, which goes for $249 with contract, after a $100 mail-in rebate.

A full list of cities, and more information about Sprint's 4G service, is available on their site.
