Google has just released a new version of Google Maps updating it to version 6.0 for Android devices. The latest version of Google Maps not only has bug fixes, but has some enhancements to the 'My Location' feature as well. The My Location feature allowed you to see where you are on a Google Map, allowing you to see where you need to go, or just plain figure out just where the heck you are. All that provided you are in an area that still has coverage.

Google has added indoor maps for a few locations and will be working with many others to bring you indoor maps of your frequently visited places. Google is currently working with airports, public transit and shopping retailers in the U.S. and Japan. You'll currently be able to find indoor maps of IKEA, The Home Depot, San Francisco Int'l Airport and more. You can find a list of all indoor maps here.

If you already have Google Maps installed, check the Android Market for an update to version 6.0 under 'My Apps', and have a look at the videos below to give you a good walkthrough of the new features.
