It's become wildly popular over the last few years, even spawning a series based on the obsessional players; fantasy football leagues are exploding, and now they're going mobile on Android handsets, thanks to Yahoo (and much to the relief of Android phone-toting stat geeks).

While games have been available on other mobile platforms for some time (though some may have problems updating if you hold the device wrong) previous efforts for Android, most notably by CBS, have failed.

Yahoo's offering, which should be available in time draft day, will give real-time updates on players, keep your points updated, and allow roster management.

Pricing has not yet been set.
