Dropbox Released for Android
Although beta testers have had their greasy mitts all over the pre-release version of Dropbox for Android for a while now, mere mortals have been standing by with anticipation for their shot at the file syncing software. And now the wait is over. Dropbox has uploaded its official Android app to the Android market and it's available for download now.
Dropbox, for those of you that are unaware, is service that allows users to sync data between multiple devices by storing the latest version in the Dropbox cloud. So that document you worked on at home is available the next morning when you arrive at work, no fuss, no muss.
One of the nicest things about Dropbox has always been the cross-platform support that now extends to your Android phone. So that spreadsheet of cool doughnut shops you always wish was on your phone? No problem. Your Keepass database with password access to the Mountain Dew forum? Yup. All sync'd painlessly.
