sewing
Sewing is simply the fastening of any flexible material using a needle and thread. It is a process used in homes and businesses worldwide, assisting in the making of such things as clothing, curtains, and upholstery.
It also is standard practice, worldwide, in fixing rips and tears in the clothing of growing children.
What once began as a simple needle and thread has been taken over by a wide variety of machines varying from a basic stitcher to a machine that will do complicated sewing and dressmaking crafts and even embroidery and patterning of all sorts.
People have come to use these machines to craft entire wardrobes, and clothing for all occasions including weddings.
You'll find bloggers talking about sewing at sites like The Craft Gossip Sewing Blog and The Stitch DC Blog.

Princess and the Frogs
—
Authority:
Because Wiki decrees it and ergo it must be true, there are several collective nouns for a group of frogs- a colony (too boring), an army (unlikely), a knot (incongruous), a bundle (no thank you) and a froggery (redundant). Oh, and a fester of frogs. You win, fester, for your apocalyptic imagery. A ...9 hours ago -

If you’ve ...1 day ago -

My hubby Alex likes to carry around a slim, fold-in-half vinyl wallet sometimes, but his isnt quite the right size to fit a dollar bill folded in half. He has to perform some kind of weird origami quarter-fold to make cash fit, so I thought Id see if I could make a better one. Tragically the fabric store didnt have ...1 day ago -
