germany

Tag details

Germany is a country that is part of the European Union and is often associated with excellent engineering, amazing social services, beer and sausages.

Germany also has a rough history. The country was the starting point of two major wars (World War One and World War Two) and was responsible for such atrocities as the Holocaust against the Jewish people.

However, Germany has recovered. Now Germany is most discussed around the blogosphere in reference to German cars and the autobahn like the blog German Car Scene, beer and the wonderful beer gardens of Munich like the blog Zurika, or the Germany cuisine like this travel blogger in Berlin.

Germans are proud of many things including all those listed above. One thing that they are proud of that is not interesting to travelers is German Football. The German Football team has won the World Cup three times and is the national pride of Germany.
