Angelina Jolie is an American actress, born June 4, 1975. Her birth surname is Voight, but she dropped it to distance herself from estranged father, actor Jon Voight. She has won three Golden Globes and an Academy Award. Some of her most notable films include Hackers, Gia, Tomb Raider, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Wanted and The Changeling. She was also, briefly, the spokesmodel for the St. John luxury fashion line.

Jolie is noted for her humanitarian efforts, and has been named a UN Goodwill Ambassador. She has traveled all over the world to help refugees and other displaced persons. She has been married twice: first to actor Johnny Miller, then to actor Billy Bob Thornton. She is currently in a committed relationship with actor Brad Pitt. When asked about wedding plans, the couple has been quoted as saying that they will not marry until gay couples are afforded the same rights. Jolie has three adopted children, and has three biological children with Pitt.
