Reggie Bush Has to Hand Over the Hardware
Reggie, Reggie, Reggie...you knew that this was going to catch up to you. You heard the whispers. You knew this was a possibility. Now it's happening. Now you have to cough up that Heisman Trophy and eat a big ass piece of humble pie.
Yea, I know you're a millionaire and that this piece of hardware is just metal, but if you think about what it stands for and the history behind it, you have to be ashamed.
As a young, impressionable athlete, you were tempted with some goodies and you apparently took them.
Didn't you ever stop and think that, "Eh, this isn't right. I shouldn't be doing this."
Guess it's too late for a retrospective look at this story. However, we can look how this scar on Bush's young career will last forever — just like the records he broke and championships he won to win the Heisman.
Now that he has to give back the Heisman, Reggie is now one of those asterisk athletes.
