Now we are down to our final division in our 32-team NFL preview tour, and we are in the AFC West. We will start our journey in Denver, and take a look at the Denver Broncos.
The Denver Broncos found themselves off to a roaring start, 6-0, a commanding lead over the San Diego Chargers, and it looked like things were going to be great for head coach Josh McDaniels and company, but with a disgruntled wide receiver, a quarterback who seemed to tail off towards the end of the season, Denver went 2-8 after their bye week in Week 7 and ended up missing the playoffs.
After things deteriorated with Brandon Marshall, he was shipped off to Miami. Tony Scheffler also left Denver for Detroit, and of course Jay Cutler was sent to Chicago. With a bunch of younger players in place, this year looks like a year of transition for Broncos fans. How will they fare? Technorati goes inside the Denver Broncos.

Overview:
Offense: Well the Broncos have Kyle Orton as their quarterback, and Orton really has never been the same since that game against Wisconsin during his Heisman run at Purdue. Orton is a game managing kind of quarterback, and he was blessed to have Brandon Marshall and Tony Scheffler there. However, with the competition he had for the starting job with Brady Quinn (who was unimpressive in Cleveland) and Tim Tebow (too inexperienced), Orton is lucky to have retained the starting job, and with the following that Tebow has created, it looks like this may be Orton's last season as the starter for the Broncos, barring a season of miraculous proportions. Quinn, who has NFL experience, was outplayed in the preseason by Tebow, but since Quinn has more experience, he is the backup instead of Tebow. Expect this year to be an observation year for #15, but do not be surprised if he's in on some gadget plays.
