Skagen Boats and the Columbia Drag Boat Association (CDBA) are joining forces to create the first-ever 21-foot speed boat shoot out at Dexter Reservoir in Lowell, Oregon June 24-26, 2011.

This bracket race will be the first of its kind allowing non-professional drag boat racers to enter their boat in the quarter-mile drag race.

It's a rare opportunity for boaters to bracket race their lake boat against other 21's. This event will be a part of the Can Am Challenge, which is a Co-Sanctioned Western Divisional Points Race.

It's not everyday the budding performance boater gets an opportunity to take their boat out and race it on a professional course. This is an opportunity to show off all the time and energy put into the boats and motors and to do in in a safe and controlled enviornment.
