#3. Rickie Fowler, Carl Petterson, Rory McIlroy: Does this group even need an explanation? It's worth watching Rickie Fowler just for the bright clothing, but the youngster can also play. Although he hasn't won in 2010, he has finished 2nd twice and has a few more top 10's on his resume. Carl Petterson is the old man of the group but his win at the RBC Canadien Open makes him noteworthy. Last, Rory McIlroy. Quickly becoming a fan favorite won the Wells Fargo Championship this year and finished in a tie for 3rd at both the British Open and PGA Championship. Don't be surprised to see him at the top of the leaderboard on Sunday.
#2. Ernie Els, Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk: This probably would have been my top group to watch but Furyk's DQ makes the group slightly less interesting... slightly. We all know what Stricker can do. He now finds himself looking to take over the World Golf Ranking #1 ever time he tees off. The Big Easy (Ernie Els) is at the top of the FedEx Cup standings. His two PGA Tour wins this season at the WGC-CA Championships and Arnold Palmer Invitational make him a true contender to win the whole thing. Throw in a 3rd place finish at the US Open and he slowly becomes a favorite.
