Mike Tyson Considering Boxing Again
Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson's boxing days appeared to be over.
First, just based on appearances, he's not quite the physical specimen he once was.
But more importantly, he looked to be on the road to recovery from many personal demons and tragedies, settling into fatherhood and appearing to be a good husband. He even bared his soul to Oprah.
But, whether the motivation is financial or just the competitiveness of a former dominant athlete, Tyson (at the prodding of Don King, incidentally) is reportedly considering fighting again, facing another once-great fighter who has a history with Tyson, Evander Holyfield.
Seriously, looking at Tyson, there's no way he can get in any kind of shape to box again, even if it is against another guy on the senior circuit in Holyfield. This has sideshow written all over it, which is probably exactly what King wants. Sadly, though, it once looked like Tyson had finally moved past this kind of thing.
