Kikkor Golf Shoes Review
One of the most noticeable changes in golf apparel is the shoes. As someone who considers himself a traditionalist, I’ve ignored the change in footwear and stayed true to my “traditional” golf shoes. Earlier this year I made the change from my FootJoys to the very comfortable AdiPURE golf shoes by Adidas and I'm a huge fan.

A couple of months ago I was introduced to a new brand of golf shoe, Kikkor. A Vancouver based company, the entire line of golf “shoes” looked like various kinds of sneakers. I noticed a couple of pairs that looked like something I would wear if I was skateboarding or going for a jog.
For some reason these golf sneakers stuck in my mind and I went on Twitter to see what people were saying about Kikkor Golf Shoes and was pleasantly surprised. The Golf Chick was tweeting pictures of her new Kikkor golf shoes and raving about how comfortable they were. With her recommendation, I decided to pursue the Kikkor brand even further.

It didn’t take long before I was on the Kikkor website looking at shoes to would buy and write about. Not expecting much out of it, I was surprised by their selection of shoes and decided to go with the Retro Breathe in Lunar Suede (apparently that’s a color). I didn’t really know what to expect when they arrived but from the moment I opened the box, I was impressed.
What Makes Kikkor Golf Shoes Great
I’ll start with what’s most important to me, comfort. If all golf sneakers are made this comfortable, golf shoes are in trouble. The moment I took them out of the box and put them on my feet, I could tell I found a comfortable golf sneaker and after walking several rounds in my Kikkor Golf Sneakers, I can proudly report they are extremely comfortable. With the exception of the first time I wore them I felt never felt any discomfort at any point during any round. It was a refreshing change from running to my car and ripping off my golf shoes in exchange for something more comfortable.
