I was fortunate enough to play my first Top 100 Golf Course this past week.  Unfortunately, we had some rain but it wasn't going to stop me from playing Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA.  If this course sounds familiar, it's because the PGA Tour played the AT&T National this year (and will play it here in 2011).

(My approach shot to the 18th green at Aronimink Gold Club.  Notice the clubhouse in the background)

How bad was the rain?  We were lucky.  Holes 1 thru 6 we had a steady rain, but not a downpour.  Holes 17 and 18 were played in the worst rain I have ever seen on a golf course.  You can see my shirt is stuck to me, the caddy has an umbrella, and the actual raindrops in the picture.

If you're wondering how I played this course, the answer is in my previous post: How to Play Private Golf Courses
