I can't prove this but I have to be one of the least "handy" people on Earth.  Do it yourself projects like connecting a hammer to a nail is a big success for me if nothing breaks, like the wall or my finger.

Why do I tell you this?  I want you to REALLY understand how easy it is to change the spikes in your golf shoes.  It's something I have never done before because I didn't think I could.  I would wear them out and then get new golf shoes.  I never realized how important it was to have good spikes until earlier this year when my foot started sliding out from under me.  I decided I needed to do this.

Changing Your Spikes is Easy & Cheap

I decided the best way to show how to do this was create a short video (2 minutes and 17 seconds) demonstrating what you need to have and do:

As you can see in the video (and for those of you who can't see it), all you need is the key or tool to remove the spikes, a set of new spikes to replace the old ones and your golf shoes.

How Much Will This Cost Me

The "tool" to remove and put your spikes in cost me $4.99.  The spikes themselves cost me $15.99 for 16 spikes.  My shoes only require 14 so it's nice to have a couple extra in case I make a mistake or one breaks while playing.

The spikes I bought are the Pulsar made by Softspikes.  They had a less expensive set (I can't remember the cost) and they also had a more expensive set.
