Could Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry Win Rookie of the Year?
When Stephen Curry was drafted out of Davidson, much of the attention focused on whether or not the slight Curry could develop into a NBA point guard because of his height. Some teams worried he lacked the size to be a starting shooting guard at the NBA level.
After the month of February he's had, which included clipping the wings off the Bird Man above, I don't think there's any doubts that he's a really good player regardless of position.
Check his numbers last month: About 22 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists per game.
While the consensus has been that hyped (and deserving) rookies Tyreke Evans and Brandon Jennings are the Rookie of the Year favorites, Curry might be closing the season stronger either of them.
