Brendan Haywood Suggests the Chris Brown Treatment for Elin Nordgren
Washington Wizards basketball player Brendan Haywood, like most people, has opinions. Unlike most public figures, however, he's not afraid to share his most ignorant ones.
Last year, he went on the radio and showed his understanding of homosexuality by accusing Stephon Marbury of being gay for having a man rub his shoulders.
Now, he took to his Yardbarker blog because there weren't enough insanely stupid opinions on Tiger Woods' personal life out there (he starts a sentence with "Call me old-fashioned," so we know we're in trouble):
This could’ve been settled nice and quietly behind closed doors. All I’m saying is that Elin better be glad she’s married to Tiger Woods instead of Chris Brown or this whole story could’ve been reported differently!
Ah, domestic violence jokes. Those are always funny and appropriate. He does, however, respond with a slightly more reasonable take, presumably after some negative reactions from commenters.
