Blog Focus: The New York Yankees are Back in the World Series
Blog Focus is Technorati's daily roundup of the top stories as told by the bloggers of the world. Each day five posts, no matter how popular or nascent, will be selected by editors to portray a general unscientific reaction to discussion points around the 'Net.
For the first time since the year 2000, despite spending more than $100 million in payroll every year, handing out big contracts to the likes of Carl Pavano, Jaret Wright and Jason Giambi, the New York Yankees finally found the right combination of high-priced talent to get them back to the World Series.
