When you cruise around the interwebs, it's hard to not come across a blog. In fact, most corporate, non-profit or brand "websites" these days are blogs. For those blogs that are independent of a brand, a media outlet or an organization, none are more powerful than mommy blogs.

For the past few years, mommy bloggers have been a driving force of the online conversation, especially as it related to family issues.

These days, however, moms have had to make room for dads.

Here are a few short reviews of some daddy blogs worth checking out:

Dad-o-Matic
One of the first dad blogs I came across was one that's headlined by social media uber guru Chris Brogan. Bloggers share their thoughts and ideas about parenting and often provide opinion pieces, news, reviews and advice. Admittedly, the blog is skewed towards geeky type dads, even though they cover the perspective of all dads. Follow Dad-o-Matic on Twitter: @dad_O_matic.

Wired's Geek Dad
How can you mention geek and dad in the same breath without mentioning Wired Magazine's Geek Dad blog. It is what it sounds like — a blog for all the dads out there who are tech geeks. It does a great job with product reviews, conducts interviews with the science types, writes about off beat things such as legos and robots and talks about classic dad topics like camping. Regardless of your interest as a dad, Geek Dad pretty much as it covered. It also boasts a great roster of writers. Follow Geek Dad on Twitter: @WiredGeekDad.

DadCamp
DadCamp is an interesting site that is a place where dads can show off their creative skills, share ideas and inspirations for parenting. The site is a very open community and does accept guest posts from other daddy bloggers. It does a great job with organizing content, utilizing video and being very creative with post topics, such as kid safe pumpkin pie recipies.
