Checkin Mania is the latest Google Maps mash-up to integrate with the current swath of location-based social networking tools. The web app currently allows you to see check-ins from Foursquare and Gowalla at locations marked on a map. From the website, it appears that Brightkite and Yelp check-ins aren't far behind.

Checkin Mania is a good way to see what places around town are hopping and what looks like Dullsville (at least for the folks who go around "checking-in" everywhere they visit). At the very least, it'll help you track down where all the rest of the social media nerds in town are.

This may be a useful tool for marketers and small business owners as well. By seeing where your check-ins are coming from, it might help you target your marketing to various demographics. It's also useful for collecting data on all your check-ins in one easy-to-use application.
