N.H. Adds Winds To Romney’s Sail

After Iowa I had said, GOP needs to embrace Mitt Romney since he is going to be their eventual nominee for 2012 Presidential election. This was not my personal endorsement of the man, I was merely predicting the eventuality. It would probably be another 10 days, that the naysayers would have to wait to accept that prospect, but when South Carolina speaks it would pretty much be a done deal.
Mitt Romney’s win at the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, is decisive, he came out with a double digit difference with the second place holder Texas Rep. Ron Paul. It is a great showing by the Texas congressman; his rise only shows how disenchanted Republican voters are with Romney candidacy.
Romney’s bane is going to be his record at Bain Capital, among others; and his recent comments that he loves to fire people, would be his nemesis. A prominent Republican leader had commented about Bain Capital—they were like the vultures sitting on tree limbs waiting to eat the carcass and leave only skeleton—that comment was from Texas Governor Rick Perry. The true damage to Romney’s credential nevertheless will be done by Newt Gingrich. His war chest has just been revamped with $5 million for the sole purpose of running ads in South Carolina against Mitt Romney.
Newt is like a suicide bomber. He loves himself so much that he does not care if he destroys his own party in the process. His sole purpose is to get even with Mitt Romney, at any cost. Come election time, Obama will have a field day rerunning those Newt TV ads to destroy Romney.
The Evangelicals are also meeting to discuss how to stop Romney juggernaut, which I think is too late anyway. Is the GOP too distressed? I guess, not. Despite all their seemingly tearing-at-the-seams fight against Obama, they know, in Obama they have the best Republican they can get. I am telling you Barack Obama is a shoo-in in 2012.
Don’t trust me? Fine. Just remember that you first heard it from me.
