Marc Plotz

I am a software developer specializing in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, jQuery, Ajax and CSS. I prefer Linux over Windows and Mac over any other operating system. I have been specialising in developing Rapid Application Development (RAD) frameworks for the past two years, and the past year has seen me move that field over completely to the MVC architecture pattern. I am currently employed as a Project Manager for a leading South African web development company, and spend a lot of my time upgrading and Maintaining our Frameworks. For a little over a year I have been writing developer articles for the internet.com group of websites, although this has slowed down recently I do plan to start writing more often. Recently I have been invited to submit articles for sitepoint.com and am exploring the possibility of writing for a few other websites if time permits. My developer articles are all listed here under Developer Articles (convenient, huh?) so you can check them out if you like. In my personal life I am extremely happily married. We live in South Africa with our 2 children, one and a half dogs and a rubber fish.
