Imagine holding a cocktail in one hand while you stand overlooking the dancing fountains of the Bellagio. The Vegas nightlife is thriving and you are there, witnessing it all from a private terrace. Come December The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will make this possible, plus so much more!

Situated between the Bellagio and City Center, The Cosmopolitan will boast 2,995 rooms, some of which will be residential style condominiums. The property sits on 8.7 acres of land in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. There will be a nightclub and ultra lounge, a 50,000 square foot spa, and 100,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.

In-room amenities will include plasma televisions, a custom in-room bar, Japanese soaking tubs and rain showers, just to name a few.

Further adding to its uniqueness, The Cosmopolitan is not a part of a big hotel chain, and will be the first of its kind to offer private terraces overlooking the breathtaking views of the strip. Every intricate detail of the resort has been designed to give guests a different and unique experience. Dining options will include Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill, China Poblano, Jaleo, and several more which are all new to the strip.

Building The Cosmopolitan has not been an easy task. With construction delays and foreclosures it seemed as if the resort was destined for failure. Deutsche Bank came along and purchased the property back in 2008. Many wonder about the hotel, which is positioned between two MGM properties. I firmly believe that in when it opens in December, five years after its original groundbreaking, The Cosmopolitan will be one to contend with.
