When we think about getting away for a vacation its usually for the summer months when the weather is warm.

In October they celebrate their annual Virginia Wine Month and pay homage to the grape at wineries statewide with festivals, special barrel tastings, harvest dinners and wine-themed travel packages. This would be an amazing treat and experience for someone who loves wine. Make it a priority to visit the wine trails if you travel there during the wine month.
