Brilliant Earth
We currently have an amazing opportunity to show support for socially and environmentally conscious mining practices in the jewelry industry.

As part of an 11-year tradition on NBC's Today Show, viewers will help plan an on-air wedding by voting for a dress, a cake, a honeymoon, and of course, the wedding rings. As the leading ethical origin fine jeweler, Brilliant Earth has been selected by the Today Show to be one of four internationally recognized sources of wedding rings.

Starting Wednesday, August 25th, viewers will have a chance to send a message via national television that issues such as blood diamonds and dirty gold mining matter to them. This is the first time in NBC's 11-year tradition that verified ethical origin rings are being considered for the Today Show Wedding Series, and this is an incredible chance for consumers to prove to the jewelry industry their support for ethical mining practices and recycled precious metals.

As a jeweler founded specifically to create a socially responsible and ‘greener’ alternative, Brilliant Earth strives to give people an opportunity to care about where their rings come from. Brilliant Earth's wedding rings are made from only recycled metals and gems sourced directly from mines with impeccable labor and environmental standards.

After the four options are presented on Wednesday, August 25th, viewers will have five days to vote for their favorite selection at facebook.com/TODAYshow. Take a look at the image of the two Brilliant Earth rings that have been chosen as the "green" options for the lucky couple - our stunning Flora Ring and the handsome 5mm Milgrain Wedding Ring.

Please help spread the word about this opportunity to tell the global jewelry industry that American consumers want wedding rings that not only symbolize love, but also are made with it; that blood diamonds and dirty gold mining cannot and should not be symbolic of marriage and commitment.
