For those of you who are familiar with my blog, you know that I was ranting at the discontinuation of the only natural deodorant that has worked for me for the last two years.

However, I'm a believer - when there's a problem, there is is always a solution!

While attending an amazing Vegetarian Food Fair this past weekend, I discovered many new natural and eco products and vendors. From accessories, to superfoods, there was a little something for everybody.

When I was doing my rounds, I came across this:

Source Essentials deodorant has an ingredient list that was even simpler than my previous product!  I was even more impressed at the idea of using this in my daily routine. Consisting of beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, baking soda, corn starch, salt, lemongrass oil... and the best ingredient of all - LOVE, how could anyone go wrong?

Because of my never-ending challenges with nearly man-like sweat glands, I was very reluctant to get it at first... A few people have recommended baking soda to me as a deodorant, but as natural as it is, could it tame my smell?

Lo and behold, THIS STUFF WORKS! Not only do I last an entire day smelling sweet as lemongrass, it just blows my mind that all of the ingredients are things that I use on a weekly basis, and are mostly edible ingredients. As I've mentioned before, if a cosmetic is nearly edible, then we can trust that it's good for our skin as well.

I'm glad I've discovered this product! Not only is it locally made right here in Toronto (I'm all about promoting the benefits of supporting your local businesses), it is also hand made.

Another win-win for mankind and the planet!
