So as you know I love wearing make up and I don't go out of my house without my powder or blush, but let's talk about the basics of make up.

We know there are thousands of cosmetic products and we expect them to act magically on our skin, but what if we don't know how to apply them? obviously they won't do the trick for us so we need to take the time to learn the correct way to apply them so we look gorgeous and flawless.

Let's start with foundation. Foundation comes in various ways: liquids, cremes, sticks, gels, and now even in roll on formulas, and there are many ways to apply them: fingers, brushes, sponges, well, there are so many ways to get that flawless look we see on the magazine covers and advertisements.

How to choose the right one for me?
EASY! You just have to take a look at your skin and try different foundations in make up counters, I suggest you to ask for help when you are trying the different formulas.

Now, for picking the right tone for you, you want your foundation to match exactly to the color of your neck or chest, you don't want your foundation to match your face because it will give you a mask effect or a double color effect.

For the undertones normally cosmetics companies use color wheel as a reference, undertones are the pigments that are under your skin, which gives you the tone you are. Undertones are Warm, Cool and Neutral.
