The major gas explosion in San Bruno, CA, which occurred Thursday evening during rush hour, is now 75 percent contained. It is currently being reported that 37 structures have been destroyed.

It is still believed that the fire was caused by a natural gas explosion. As witnesses come forward, most agree that the blast was so loud they believed it to be a plane crash.

Asphalt melted, windows shattered. The heat, felt for several blocks, was so intense it rendered some fire hydrants unusable. Within it all, some houses still remain. One victim spoke earlier about his house being untouched, yet everything on the other side was gone.

Current reports have listed 75 victims being admitted to local hospitals, with four reported deaths.
