Alexander Skarsgard, Vampire Eric NorthmanTrue Blood, HBO's hit series, is the best vampire series going. And it just got a little better.

According to Charity Buzz, show producers have set up an auction where participants can bid for a "walk-on" role on the show, with proceeds going to Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Current bidding is at $10,500 and bidding increments are $1000 per bid.  Taping is in LA, and the winner must provide his or her own transportation and accommodations.  You must be 21 or older and you are NOT guaranteed to meet you favorite character.  There are more rules and limitations, so be sure to read the fine print before bidding.

Oh, how I wish I'd win the lottery; all I need is a glimpse of Askar's naked man nipples and I will have died and gone to heaven.  Sigh!

Happy bidding - it's for a good cause.
