GETTING HOUSED: Another Lazy Sunday for the Houseguests of Big Brother
I made a mistake this week. I was so fired up for Britney being HoH that I couldn’t wait for Wednesday or even Sunday’s episodes. I read blogs, I watched every minute of After Dark, and I ruined my week. I’ve seen enough to know I’ve seen too much.
So I can’t fairly make predictions or analyze decisions made, as I already know everything up until Saturday, when PoV actually took place. I wish it weren’t true, but the lack of drama in the house means that Sunday thru Wednesday will be a lot of pool playing and gossip.
These recaps aren’t about me anyway. They’re about the people in the house. So let’s move on.
I have not hidden the fact that Sunday is the most boring day of the Big Brother week. We get nominations, which are often clear-cut, and sometimes we get a little fallout from HoH.
This week, we got one out of two and a have-not competition.
Hayden, Enzo and Brendon are on slop as they couldn’t read the poker faces of Ragan, Matt and Lane. The competition involved each team taking shots of something and the other team guessing who had the foul-tasting drink. Enzo thought he would excel because he is a “psychic with caller ID.” But he was no match for Ragan, the self-proclaimed “theater queen,“ who confused everyone with his “big fat gay drama.” Well played, sir.
Sadly, there was no fallout from Britney winning HoH. Enzo was a close second and you can tell he was a bit beaten up about it. A lot is made about Enzo cracking under the pressure, and he talks a lot about wanting to see his wife and daughter. Enzo may have been upset about losing the competition, but I think he was just paranoid about being put on the block. Enzo comes off as the kind of guy who only cares about himself.
