Celebrity Apprentice: Back with a Bang
Donald Trump is back with a vengeance on Celebrity Apprentice. Not only did he drop the "F" bomb on the first episode he also called Rosie O'Donnell "disgusting" to her good friend Cyndi Lauper during a yawner of a boardroom meeting that showed the women's team needs to develop that killer instinct if they have any hope of winning any challenges.
Each team's first task was to name their team, as well as, pick the project manager for the other team. The women picked the name Tenacity and then were decisive in making rocker Bret Michaels the project manager for the men's team, thinking he was the weakest member. The men chose the name RockSolid for their group and Cyndi Lauper was chosen to be project manager due to her perceived weak leadership skills. Both team's seemed to have a similar strategy, choosing the musician in the groups as the weakest links.
The main task was for each team was to manage a diner, and the team that made the most money would be the winner. Logically, the men's team has the upper hand with celebrity chef Curtis Stone stepping up and creating a great menu that would have people willing to pay $100 for a hamburger, and an extra $100 to have truffles put on it. The women went a different route, and opted for a low priced menu appealing to the general public who could afford to eat at the diner. This would be their downfall in the challenge. People were lined up around the block to get in, but their heavy hitters were left standing in line because the diner was simply too busy to monitor who was waiting outside.
The key to this task was tips. The team who made the most money in tips would definitely be the winner, and the men had a lot of people come to make donations and did so through very large tips. The men's team ended up making double what the women's team made.
