Scientology 2009...Year Of Epic Fail - Page 12
Scientology was caught illegally grading it's property without a permit. They were grading the property DAYS before they applied for a permit. They were also not using the required water trucks to keep the dust down to a minimum. Once they were caught, they applied for a permit and they received said permit the SAME DAY they applied. Wow!
The Fire Department was never contacted, nor the was there a conservation inquiry, which is California law.
You may think, well...not a big deal. Well, yes it is. Not only does it show huge favoritism of the cult by Riverside County officials, but several species of animals (one being an endangered species) whose habitats and more importantly their food supply will most likely be tragically effected by this grading. There are many YouTube videos of this meeting. Here is one that pertains to the animals.
Oddly enough, Scientology was not fined or bothered any further about the illegal grading that took place. Why is that? The name Jeff Stone comes to mind.
I have watched several Riverside County board meetings on YouTube. Stone's arrogance is appalling. He doesn't seem to care about his past or present behavior. He has also been caught on tape being totally untruthful and extremely unprofessional. But Karma should be taking care of that in due time. Right Jeff?
Scientology receives an early Christmas present!
The lawsuit filed by John Lindstein, gets ammended to a class action lawsuit. The Metzger Group decides to join Barry Van Sickle and co-counsel the Headleys and Lindstein's cases. From the Metzger Group website:
"It is the only firm in California whose practice is devoted exclusively to the litigation of toxic injuries other than asbestos-related diseases."
Although, the Metzger group usually deals with toxic injuries, it has decided to join the case concerning human trafficking.
Although how ironic is it that the Metzger group usually deals with toxic issues and asbestos. After all, the Scientology Freewinds was and allegedly is still asbestos laden. Perhaps the Metzger group can kill two birds with one stone and rally former ex members to file a class action lawsuit against Scientology for asbestos exposure. After all, Scientology knew about the asbestos contamination aboard the Freewinds YEARS and YEARS earlier, but chose to do NOTHING about it. Scientology allowed staff and passengers to continue to sail, until the Curacao government shut them down. Tsk Tsk! (Our very own Dawn Olsen saw the Freewinds with her own eyes parked at a dock in Aruba during Thanksgiving - so that deathship is still toxifying the air in the Caribbean.)
Back to ex Scientology Sea Org member Aaron Saxton.
Aaron recently stood in solidarity with Anonymous members, and other protesters in Australia in front of the Sydney Scientology org. He was armed with a microphone and he tried to talk some sense into the members still inside and was addressing them by name. Hopefully they were able to hear him. Click here and watch. More ex members are joining Anonymous and attending protests world wide.
