Paranormal Activity Goes Worldwide

Whether you loved it or hated it, the original Paranormal Activity was a huge success. Made on a shoestring budget of $15,000, it garnered a worldwide total of nearly $200 million. That's a hell of an investment.
So it's no surprise that a sequel is due out this October that looks to up the ante of the first film and detail a haunting on a slightly bigger scale. Meaning they're going to use more than one camera!
If you haven't seen the trailer, head over to the official site and play with the trailer a bit to discover some hidden secrets.
However, the activity isn't ending just there. Earlier today it was announced that the movie will be having a Japan centered sequel as well that directly ties into the first movie entitled Paranormal Activity: Tokyo Drift. No, wait, it's Tokyo Night. My bad.
The story will follow a young Japanese girl who was a foreign exchange student in San Diego during the events of the first film. Upon returning to her home in Japan, she comes to realize that something else made the return flight with her. The movie will chronicle her and her family's struggle with the demonic entity that tortured the original couple and will most likely utilize the same hand camera style. The film will be coming out of Japan distributor, Presidio Corporation and will be directed by Toshikazu Nagae.
In the original film, it was known that the entity had a thing for young women. I'm guessing he's finally getting bored of all that American loving he's been getting and finally going international to sate his appetite.
