Things That Need to Stop: Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Cheating and Divorce
Demi Moore must was likely watching the Twitter Trends all day as Things That Need to Stop was trending all day worldwide. Apparently, that's what Demi, in a manner of speaking, told Ashton Kutcher today. In fact, they are no longer following each other on Twitter, as of Thursday.
The 49-year old actress made plans to divorce her husband of 6 years. At least she made it 30 times longer than Kim Kardashian whose married life lasted only 72 days.
“It is with great sadness that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton,” a representative for Mrs. Moore said in a statement to Us Weekly.
“As a woman, a mother, and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chose to move forward with my life,” Mrs. Moore's statement continued.
Odd statement to make unless this is Mrs. Moore's way of saying that “Ashton Cheated on Me!” What else could these values and vows as a woman, a mother, and a wife could be?
Us Weekly reported that Ashton Kutcher, 33, had a one-night stand with Sara Leal, 22, in the early morning hours of September 24, 2011. This was not any day, but their sixth wedding anniversary.
The statement from Mrs. Moore finished, “This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”
Demi Moore is twice-divorced. The first marriage was to singer Freddy Moore, and the second marriage was to actor Bruce Willis. She has three daughters with Bruce Willis.
