The Residents of Wasilla Are Being Punked, Right?
Anything concerning Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin or that cave-boy Levi Johnston can no longer be considered as political news.
It should not be filed under politics, reported under politics or even mentioned as any sort of political news. At this point, the whole white trash scene they have created is nothing more than celebrity entertainment. None of these three hold political office, not now, not ever. Of course, that not ever part might change a little bit.
The man responsible for Bristol Palin's teenage pregnancy and hours upon hours of entertainment news fodder every time he opens his simpleton mouth, is following in his almost mother-in-law's footsteps. He's running for mayor in the town of Wasilla, Alaska.
You've got to be f*cking kidding me.
Have we sunk this far in America to even consider this? Do Americans get dumber the farther north you go? I didn't think Alaskans were any smarter or dumber than the rest of us, but you never can tell. While the good folks of Wasilla will hopefully prove that we're not that stupid, Hollywood is hoping that they are. That's right, the search for the mayor seat of Wasilla by lunkhead Levi will be a reality television show.
It's not noted which channel will be picking up this drivel, but I'm guessing it's going to be Lifetime or something that appeals to really bored, and really fat housewives. You know, the same ones who bought the issue of Playgirl that Levi showed off his Johnston in. Not to mention the commitment issues that Levi seems to have. He has broken off his engagement to Bristol at least twice. What makes anyone think that he'll stick to trying to be mayor?
Levi, who shares his intelligence factor with a pair of jeans of the same name, has filed a letter of intent with the city. Someone probably had to help him sign it using his big boy letters. All of this only makes sense in the realm of reality television in America. Just further proof of the decline of Western Civilization. No matter what channel it's on, I hope that it fails miserably.
