Lindsay Lohan: Skip Bail and Go Directly to Jail
Lindsay Lohan will spend the next four weeks in jail awaiting her October 2 probation revocation trial set by presiding judge, Judge Elden Fox. When asked by Lohan’s attorney to consider bail, Judge Fox simply responded, “Nope.”
Lohan had tested positive for controlled substances last week, tweeting on September 17, "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before Judge Fox next week as a result.”
Her father, Michael Lohan, was quick to criticize his daughter’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, as well as others in Lindsay’s life, never giving his 24-year-old daughter responsibility for her failing to adhere to court orders.
Judge Fox's set of court orders included the random drug tests, which Lindsay failed, as well as counseling for alcohol and drug rehabilitation and behavioral therapy.
Lindsay’s long list of problems became evident in 2007 when she was arrested for driving under the influence, as well as possession of cocaine. Lohan, showing no emotion, was led away handcuffed.
