George Clooney Has Close Encounter With Fireworks Over Holiday Weekend
According to TMZ, which has images from the scene, actor George Clooney, along with his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis and fellow actress Uma Thurman, had a major brush with danger this weekend.
While watching fireworks from a boat on Lake Como in Italy, the A-list group and some friends were in the line of fire of some rogue fireworks which blasted dangerously close to their boat.
In the images you can see the group jump up and take cover as the firework exploded within feet of their boat. So far, there have been no injuries reported, but I bet they had a major scare.
It's also a good thing the explosion didn't spark any fuel residue in the water from the boat, or that would have turned a scare into a massive disaster. Ladies from around the globe might have committed mass suicide if anything had happened to Clooney's salt n' pepper sexiness.
People, you can never have too much distance from fireworks!
